Starting from the town of Fossacesia Marina, our journey will take us along the renowned “Via Verde della Costa dei Trabocchi.” This cycling path, built on the former railway track, offers stunning views of the sea and a chance to explore the unique Trabocchi, traditional wooden fishing platforms that dot the coastline.
The route is suitable for all skill levels, with occasional sections of dirt and gravel roads as we venture into the Lecceta regional natural reserve and Punta Aderci regional natural reserve. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the untouched nature, encounter diverse flora and fauna, and marvel at the panoramic vistas of the Abruzzo mountains.Our experienced guide will provide fascinating insights into the history, culture, and natural wonders of the area, making this a truly immersive and memorable experience. Reservation required. Minimum two people. The tour with a guide takes place on state-of-the-art e-bikes, helmets are provided, and insurance coverage is included.
Meeting point: Parking lot of the former train station in Fossacesia Marina
Difficulty level: Easy route, suitable for all (T/Tourist category). Sections with dirt and gravel roads in Lecceta and Punta Aderci.
Route length: Approximately 40 km
Duration: Approximately 4 hours.
